No owner or operator of a motor vehicle shall
allow the same to remain on any affected streets during a snowfall,
flood, fire or other extraordinary condition.
No vehicle shall be parked or allowed to remain
upon any street in any of the following circumstances:
A. When it is in a disabled condition so as to be incapable
of operation.
B. When its position on a street is at such an hour or
in such a location as to constitute a potential hazard or obstruction
to the normal flow of traffic.
C. When it has been left unattended for a period of more
than 24 hours after the owner or operator has been notified to remove
it; or for a period of more than 24 hours after efforts to notify
the owner or operator have proved futile.
In addition to the provisions contained in §
309-43 hereof, the owner or operator of a motor vehicle who allows the same to remain on any affected street contrary to §§
309-41 and
309-42 hereof shall be in violation of this article.
