Pursuant to authority contained in Code of Virginia
(1950), as amended, § 15.2-1400 et seq. and § 15.2-1200
et seq., the election districts of Northumberland County, Virginia,
are hereby recreated and reestablished as set forth in this article.

The boundaries of the respective precincts are
set forth below:
A. Election
District 1:
(1) Beginning at the mouth of the Coan River, on the Potomac River; thence
following a southwest direction into a cove to the center of the point
of land on the northern side at the end of a private right-of-way
named Rowe Lane following said right-of-way in a southeastern direction
(the said right-of-way separates Census Blocks 3030 from 4025) to
State Route 614; thence following the center of the said highway in
a southwestern direction to U.S Highway 360; thence following the
center of U.S. Highway 360 in a westerly direction until reaching
the western side of Lodge Creek; thence southerly to an unnamed branch
of Lodge Creek; thence southwesterly to an intersection with State
Route 711 (Owl Town Road); thence following Route 711 starting in
a southeasterly direction then southwesterly direction to a private
driveway intersection (the said private driveway separates Census
Blocks 2023 and 2025); thence following the private drive in a southeasterly
direction to a farm lane; thence in a westerly direction forming the
southern boundary of Census Block 2025 to the point connecting to
State Route 701 (Azalea Lane); thence following State Route 701 in
a northwesterly direction back to Owl Town Road (State Route 711);
thence following State Route 711 in a northwesterly direction until
reaching the intersection with U.S. Highway 360; thence in a westerly
direction following U.S. Highway 360 to the adjacent Richmond County
boundary; thence following the Richmond County boundary in a northwesterly
direction to the Westmoreland County boundary; thence following the
Westmoreland County boundary in a northeasterly direction along Hampton
Hall Branch, the west Yeocomico River and the Yeocomico River, to
the Potomac River; thence following the Potomac River in a southeasterly
direction to the mouth of the Coan River, the point of beginning.
B. Election
District 2:
(1) Beginning at the mouth of the Coan River, on the Potomac River; thence
following a southwest direction into a cove to the center of the point
of land on the northern side at the end of a private right-of-way
named Rowe Lane following said right-of-way in a southeastern direction
(the said right-of-way separates Census Blocks 3030 from 4025 to State
Route 614; thence following the center of the said highway in a southwestern
direction to U.S. Highway Route 360; thence following the center of
U.S. Highway 360 in a westerly direction until reaching the western
side of Lodge Creek; thence southerly to an unnamed branch of Lodge
Creek; thence southwesterly to an intersection with State Route 711
(Owl Town Road); thence following Route 711 starting in a southeasterly
direction then southwesterly direction to a private driveway intersection
(the said private driveway separates Census Blocks 2023 and 2025);
thence following the private drive in a southeasterly direction to
a farm lane; thence in a westerly direction forming the southern boundary
of Census Block 2025 to the point connecting to State Route 701 (Azalea

Route 602, the Lancaster, Northumberland boundary, and U.S. Route
201, is in Election District 2); thence following the center of U.S.
Route 201 in a northerly direction to State Route 611; thence following
the center of State Route 611 in a northwesterly direction to a southern
branch of Bush Mill Stream; thence following the center of the southern
branch of Bush Mill Stream in a northerly direction to the center
of Bush Mill Stream; thence following the center of Bush Mill Stream
in a westerly direction to State Route 601; thence following the center
of State Route 601 in a northerly direction to a point opposite a
private right-of-way on the east side of State Route 601, a short

Route 699, a short distance from its intersection again with U.S.
Route 200; thence following the private right-of-way in a westerly
direction to a cove of Betts Mill Creek (the private right-of-way
separates Census Block 2001 from Census Block 2016, with Census Block
2001 being located in Election District 3 and Census Block 2016 being
located in Election District 4); thence following the center of the
cove of Betts Mill Creek in a westerly direction to the center of
Betts Mill Creek; thence following the center of Betts Mill Creek
in a southwesterly direction to the Great Wicomico River; thence following
the center of the Great Wicomico River in a westerly direction to
a cove of the Great Wicomico River into which Bush Mill Stream flows;

E. Election
District 5:
(1) Beginning at the mouth of Hacks Creek following the centerline of
Hacks Creek in a southwesterly direction to a point between Census
Blocks 1036 and 1002; thence following a farm road to a private driveway
to State Route 644; thence southerly on State Route 644 to the intersection
of State Route 646; thence easterly along State Route 646 to a stream
of the Little Wicomico River; thence following the center line of
the stream of the Little Wicomico River in a northeasterly direction
to the Little Wicomico River; thence following the southern shore
of the Little Wicomico River in an easterly and then southeasterly
direction to the center of the point of land on the southeastern side
of the mouth of Willis Creek; thence following the center of State
Route 734 in a southerly direction to State Route 647 (Census Block
1030 is in Election District 3 and Census Block 1027 is in Election
District 5); thence following the center of State Route 647 in a southwesterly
direction to State Route 769, thence following the center of State
Route 769 in an easterly direction to a private driveway that separates
Census Block 2032 and 2003, following the edge of Census Block 2032
in a southerly direction, then easterly to the western shoreline of
a cove of Cod Creek following the shoreline in a southerly and then
an easterly direction to the boundary of Census Blocks 2032 and 2031;
then to the end of State Route 1305, thence following the center of
State Route 1305 in an easterly and thence southerly direction to
