An Advisory Pension Fund Committee is hereby created to monitor the operation of the funds and plans and to advise the Township Manager and Board of Supervisors on matters concerning the administration of the fund and plan. The Committee shall review and supervise the investment and expenditures of the moneys in the fund and plan upon approval of the Board of Supervisors.
The Committee shall consist of five members, one of whom shall be a member of the Board of Supervisors designated by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors; one of whom shall be the Township Manager; one of whom shall be the Chief of Police; one of whom shall be a representative of the township's uniform police officers; and one of whom shall be a representative from the township's non-uniformed employees.
The Committee shall meet quarterly for the purpose of reviewing the annual actuarial report and the plans investment performance. Other meetings shall be held whenever a majority of the members concur that a meeting would be desirable.
