The Board of Supervisors of Athens Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, hereby adopts the following as its procedure by which a person may file a grievance in respect to handicapped discrimination:
A. 
Step No. 1: The aggrieved person shall submit a written report of the grievance to the designated responsible employee of the Township of Athens.
B. 
Step No. 2: This report shall state in full detail the nature of the grievance, the date, time, location and any other information the aggrieved person feels will help the Township of Athens to correct said grievance.
C. 
Step No. 3: After submitting said grievance, the designated employee shall have a time period of 60 days in which to file said grievance with the Athens Township Board of Supervisors and seek its administrative advice and legal aid in resolving said grievance.
D. 
Step No. 4: Within the above time frame, the designated employee shall notify the aggrieved person of any and all progress concerning his or her grievance, in writing, and, in any case that cannot be resolved by the Board of Supervisors and/or its designated employee, will contact the Intergovernmental Relations Division of the Office of the Secretary of the Treasury in an attempt to facilitate the implementation of the needed correction.
