The Right-to-Know Law, Act of February 14, 2008, No. 3, P.L. 6,[1] as amended, provides that townships and other agencies shall make available records in accordance with the terms and limitations of the Right-to-Know Law. The Township desires to revise procedures for the inspection of records in order that the operations of the Township will not be disrupted through requests for inspection and copying of Township records, while assuring compliance with the revised provisions of the Right-to-Know Law. The Township desires to set a policy which will provide for the reasonable inspection and reproduction of the Township’s reasonable records by legal residents of the United States.

The Board of Supervisors of East Norriton Township is hereby authorized to adopt a resolution and amend such resolution from time to time as it deems necessary to set rules and regulations setting forth reasonable policies for requests for inspection and reproduction of records of the Township and for imposing fees for inspecting and reproducing, as authorized by the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records.
The Board does hereby reserve the right, from time to time, to adopt modifications of, supplements to, or amendments of its ordinances and hereby authorizes any future changes to inspection and reproduction to be done by a resolution of the Board.
