It shall be unlawful for the owner or custodian
of any cattle, horses, donkeys, burros or any beasts of burden to
permit such animals to leave the premises of said owner or custodian
and traverse the roads and highways in said Township or to wander
upon or across property of the citizens of said Township unattended
and without proper and necessary restraint and control. It shall be
the duty of said owner or custodian of said animals to provide such
measures as will control and restrain said animals upon the premises
so that they do not cause or threaten to cause danger to the health
and safety of the citizens of said Township or cause or threaten to
cause damage to property within said Township.

Any person, corporation or other entity who
shall violate any of the provisions of this article or who should
fail to comply with any notice of violation herein, upon conviction
before a District Justice within the magisterial district within which
the Township of East Norriton is a part, shall be fined not more than
$600 plus costs of prosecution after a summary proceeding brought
in the name of the Township before said District Justice. A new and
separate offense shall be deemed to be committed for each day that
such violation exists. In default of the payment of any fine imposed
and the costs, the person or persons that are charged may be sentenced
to be committed to the county jail for a period not exceeding 30 days.
