As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
DISTURBING THE PEACE
Within the limits of the Township of East Norriton, any act, word or conduct causing or tending to cause a disturbance of the peace and good order of said Township or causing or tending to cause any danger, discomfort or annoyance to the inhabitants of said Township or users of the Township thoroughfares, and shall include obstructing any public highway, road, street, lane, alley, park, square or sidewalk, idly standing, loafing, fighting, drunkenness, vagrancy, begging, the making of unnecessary noises, profanity, indecent language, reckless or careless driving or any other use of vehicles by owners or occupants thereof as shall endanger the safety or interfere with the comfort and convenience of persons using or residing near the thoroughfares of said Township.
All of the foregoing acts and/or offenses coming within the definition of "disturbing the peace" are hereby declared to be unlawful.

Any person, corporation or other entity who shall violate any of the provisions of this article or who should fail to comply with any notice of violation herein, upon conviction before a District Justice within the magisterial district within which the Township of East Norriton is a part, shall be fined not more than $600 plus costs of prosecution after a summary proceeding brought in the name of the Township before said District Justice. A new and separate offense shall be deemed to be committed for each day that such violation exists. In default of the payment of any fine imposed and the costs, the person or persons that are charged may be sentenced to be committed to the county jail for a period not exceeding 30 days.
