[HISTORY: Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lancaster as Article 108 of the Codified Ordinances. Amendments noted where applicable.]
All ordinances or parts of ordinances of municipalities other than the City of Lancaster which could by virtue of the provisions of the Act of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved July 10, 1959 (P.L. 521), Section 1,[1] be held or construed to govern and control within any territory annexed to the City of Lancaster since the effective date of that Act are declared to be forever null, void and of no effect in such annexed territory.

All ordinances of the city presently in force and effect are declared to be in full force and effect in all such territory so annexed to the city.
It is declared to be the legislative intent of Council that all bills in the process of enactment and ordinances hereafter enacted or becoming effective shall likewise be effective in such annexed territory.
