The provisions of Section 7-136 of the Connecticut General Statutes
be and they hereby are accepted by establishing an Economic Development Commission
for the promotion and development of the economic resources of the Town of
Fairfield.

The Commission shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the
First Selectman to serve five-year terms, provided that the initial terms
shall be so fixed that the term of at least one member shall expire each year.
The First Selectman shall have the authority to appoint three additional
members ex officio without vote.
