The purpose of this article is to prohibit illicit
connections to the municipal separate storm sewer system(s) operated
by the Borough of Glassboro, so as to protect public health, safety
and welfare, and to prescribe penalties for the failure to comply.
No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged
through an illicit connection to the municipal separate storm sewer
system operated by the Borough of Glassboro any domestic sewage, noncontact
cooling water, process wastewater, or other industrial waste (other
than stormwater).
This article shall be enforced by the Police
Department and/or other Municipal Officials of the Borough of Glassboro.

Any person violating any of the terms and provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction, be punished for such offense
by a fine not to exceed $2,000, or by imprisonment for not more than
90 days, or a period of community service for not more than 90 days,
or any combination thereof, at the discretion of the Municipal Court
Judge.
