Any person who shall attempt to commit an offense
prohibited by law, and in such attempt shall do an act toward the
commission of such offense, but shall fail in the perpetration or
shall be intercepted or prevented in the execution of the same, shall
upon conviction thereof be punished by imprisonment for not more than
45 days or by a fine of not more than $250, or by both such fine and
imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
Every person concerned in the commission of
an offense, whether he or she directly commits the act constituting
the offense or procures, counsels, aids or abets in its commission,
may hereafter be prosecuted, indicted, tried and, on conviction, shall
be punished as if he or she had directly committed such offense.
