Editor's Note: Former § 19-1, Establishment, which provided for the election of three Assessors, was repealed 6-13-1983 by L.L. No. 3-1983.
Pursuant to § 21, Subdivision 2, of the Town Law[1], a Board of Review consisting of three members shall be appointed by the Town Board at a per diem rate of compensation to be fixed by the Town Board. Said Board of Review shall appoint its own Chairman, and said Board of Review shall hear and determine complaints in relation to the assessment roll.
