Editor's Note: Former Art. I, Carrying of Weapons by Auxiliary
Police Officers, adopted 10-20-1975 by Ord. No. 309-75, was repealed
11-8-2012 by Ord. No. 1920-12. This ordinance also renumbered former
Arts. II and III as Arts. I and II, respectively.

The Police Department of the City of Passaic may, in the discretion
of the Police Director, provide escort services to any business or
industry in the City of Passaic at the request of said business or
industry in the transportation of money or other valuables.

This service shall be provided as scheduled and directed by
the Police Director.
Each business or industry shall pay a fee of $12.50 for each
direction of escort service, totaling $25 for a round trip.
All fees for such escort service shall be paid to the Passaic
Police Department and deposited in the City treasury.
There shall be no fees charged for escort service provided to
charitable or religious associations or corporations.
No escort service as provided herein shall travel beyond the
confines of the City of Passaic.
