No person or persons, firms or corporations shall transport, in any
manner whatsoever, gunpowder, dynamite or other explosives in, over, under
and/or upon the public highways, streets, avenues, roads, lanes, alleys, public
grounds, parks or parkways in the Village of Elmsford, New York, without a
permit.

Any person, corporation or partnership which shall violate any provisions
of this chapter shall be subject and liable to a penalty of $500 for each
and every violation.
To the extent above indicated, the ordinance heretofore adopted by the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elmsford on June 25, 1923, and entitled
"An Ordinance Relating to the Storing, Selling or Transportation of Gunpowder
or other Explosives," is hereby amended and repealed, but in all other respects
ratified and affirmed.
