The Department of Recreation and Parks shall
have the authority to promulgate regulations, subject to approval
by the Township Committee.
There are hereby established rules and regulations
concerning the use of all municipal recreation lands, playgrounds
and other recreation places located within the Township of Colts Neck,
and the conduct of all persons while on or using the same.

No person shall cut, injure, deface, remove
or disturb any tree, shrub, building, fence, bench or other structure.
No person shall construct, reconstruct, erect or relocate any structure,
including tree stands, fences, benches or sheds or any other type
of structure on Township property and/or Township greenway.
All abusive, profane or indecent language, or
any conduct that may annoy others, is hereby prohibited.
No person shall carry firearms or throw stones
or other missiles in the areas above described.

No person shall sell, offer or solicit for sale
any goods or merchandise without undergoing the permit application
procedure promulgated by the Department of Recreation and Parks.

No person shall use, consume, carry or bring
any alcoholic beverage in, to or on the areas above described without
written approval by the Township Committee.
Betting, gambling in any form or maintaining
any gambling equipment is prohibited.
No person without authorization may distribute
any circulars, cards or written matter, or post, paste or affix any
placard, notice or sign, in the areas above described.
Ice skating by township residents and their
friends shall be permitted on the Community Center ponds when the
conditions are safe for such purpose as determined by the municipal
authorities. A red and white flag flown beneath the United States
ensign on the Township Hall flagpole shall be the signal that the
ice is safe.

No person shall be permitted in the areas above described as specified in Art.
III, Use of Parks, of this article without undergoing the permit application procedure promulgated by the Department of Recreation and Parks.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article or any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant hereto shall, upon conviction, be subject to the replacement, repair or restoration of any damaged property and shall be punishable as provided in§
1-9 of this Code.
