Township of Colts Neck, NJ Article IV Parking During Snow Removal

[Adopted 1-26-1989 (Ch. 67, Art. IV, of the 1969 Code)]

§ 222-49 Restrictions.

No person, business, corporation or other entity, at any time, shall park, stop, stand or abandon any motor vehicle or obstacle on any street in the Township of Colts Neck during snow removal activities.

§ 222-50 Violations and penalties; impoundment.

A. Any person, business, corporation or other entity causing or allowing any motor vehicle or obstacle to be left on any street during the period of snow removal activities shall be punishable as provided in § 1-9 of this Code.

B. The Township shall have the right to tow said parked or abandoned motor vehicle or obstacle and shall impound said vehicle or obstacle, either at a public or private facility, and the vehicle or obstacle shall only be released after all towing and impounding fees and charges have been paid.
