There shall be a Board of Health in the Borough
which shall consist of five members who shall be residents and legal
voters in the Borough.
The members of the Board shall be nominated
and appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Borough
Council. The term of office of each appointee shall be for four years
and shall begin January 1 of the year of appointment. The terms of
not more than three members of the Board shall expire in any one year.
Appointments to fill vacancies shall be made in the same manner as
original appointments and all such appointments shall be for the unexpired
term only.
