If for any reason any provision or section of
this Code shall be held to be illegal or invalid, the same shall not
affect any other section or provision of this Code except so far as
the section or provision declared illegal or invalid shall be deemed
severable from the remainder or any portion thereof.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
with this Code are hereby repealed or revoked, and this Code shall
take effect immediately after publication in the manner provided by
law.
