There is hereby created within the financial accounts of the
Town of Stratford an Open Space and Property Acquisition Fund to receive
and disburse fees paid to the Town of Stratford under and by virtue
of § 8-25b of the Connecticut General Statutes, the purpose
of which fund is to acquire by purchase additional land for open space
or public recreation. Appropriations from such fund shall be made
by the Town Council upon approval by Planning Commission in accordance
with § 8-24 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
