Town of Oakland, MD Article I General Provisions

§ 75-1 Short title.

The short title of this chapter is "Town of Oakland Address Ordinance."

§ 75-2 Purpose.

This purpose of this chapter is to establish provisions for the assignment of names to streets and roads and numbers to existing and/or future buildings or structures in the Town of Oakland and the posting of street signs and building numbers.

§ 75-3 Authority. [1]

This chapter is adopted under authority of and in compliance with § 1- 301 et seq. of the Public Safety Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

§ 75-4 Jurisdiction.

This chapter shall apply to the incorporated portions of Oakland, MD.
