Pursuant to Sec. 3-8(5) and 3-8(6) of the Charter and with the recommendation of the Personnel Board, the position of Minimum Housing Inspector is created.

The Minimum Housing Inspector shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of a majority of the Town Council.
The Minimum Housing Inspector shall possess the education, qualifications and experience as specified in the position description attached hereto.[1] Equivalent job experience shall satisfy the position's qualifications requirement.

The Inspector's position shall be that of a part-time position to be compensated with a salary per hour as provided by the Town Council by ordinance, not to exceed 19 hours per week, and will serve without fringe benefits.
