The Health Department shall conduct comprehensive sanitary and safety
surveys of all public schools in the City. Such surveys shall include location,
playground facilities and equipment, cafeteria inspections, toilet supplies,
accident hazards, lighting, ventilation, heating, cleanliness and maintenance.
Semiannual reports of the conditions of the public schools in the City,
together with the recommendations for improvement, shall be submitted, through
the supervising principals, to the Board of Trustees for the Schools of the
City.

All buses transporting pupils to or from any City school shall be subject
to and operate in accordance with the same regulations governing the construction,
design and operation of buses operating under the jurisdiction of the State
Board of Education.
