The purpose of this article is to limit and restrict the outdoor storage,
parking or unreasonable accumulation of junk, unused, partially dismantled,
unlicensed or nonoperating motor vehicles, motorcycles, boats, tractors, trailers,
appliances, or other such machinery or new or used parts therefrom upon premises
primarily used or zoned for any type of residential purpose within the City
of Oconto Falls, to thereby avoid injury and hazards to children and others
attracted to such vehicles or trailers, the devaluation of property values
and the psychological ill effect of the presence of such vehicles or trailers
upon adjoining residents and residential property owners.
Any parking, storage, placement, or operation in violation of the provisions of this article is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter
348 of the Oconto Falls Code.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which is convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this article shall be subject to a penalty as provided in §
1-9 of this Code. Each day that a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
