Administrative functions not otherwise assigned by this Charter
or the Administrative Code shall be assigned by the County Executive
to an appropriate administrative unit.
The Chairperson of the County Legislature, in accordance with
Section 209 of the County Law, and the County Executive and such other
County officers as may be authorized by applicable law shall have
the power to subpoena and compel the attendance of witnesses and the
production of books, records and papers, as the same may be pertinent
to their respective offices. Any County officer authorized to hold
a hearing or conduct an investigation shall have the power to administer
oaths in connection with such hearing or investigation.
