There are hereby created the positions of Registrar of Vital
Statistics and Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics. Said positions
shall be a part-time employment and shall take an oath upon acceptance
of the position.
The Registrar of Vital Statistics shall perform those duties
prescribed by N.J.S.A. 26:8-25 as well as other duties as prescribed
by the Township Committee.
The Deputy Registrar shall assist in the normal, day-to-day
operation of the office, and his/her duty shall be to act in the Registrar's
stead in case of absence, disability or death of the Registrar.
Said rate of compensation shall be set by the Hainesport Township
Committee through a yearly salary ordinance establishing the annual
rate of compensation for officers and employees.
