All applications for all open competitive and promotional civil
service examinations shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable application
fee in the amount of $40.
All fees collected pursuant to this article shall be allocated
to the general fund of the Town of Babylon and shall be utilized to
offset administrative costs to the Department of Civil Service.
Application fees may be waived for those entitled to a waiver
pursuant to the provisions of Civil Service Law § 50, Subdivision
5(b).
The Town of Babylon Personnel Officer is hereby authorized and
empowered to issue and promulgate such rules and regulations as may
be necessary to implement the provisions of this article.
This article shall take effect immediately upon filing in the
office of the Secretary of State.
