[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Board of the Town of Babylon 4-26-2023 by L.L. No. 11-2023. Amendments noted where applicable.]
There shall be in the Town of Babylon a Carlls River Botanical
Garden (CRBG) Board consisting of five members. Said members shall
be the Deputy Supervisor, who shall act as Chairperson; the Town Horticulturalist;
the Commissioner of Public Works; the Commissioner of Environmental
Control; and a community CRBG Board member who is appointed by the
Town Board. These members shall serve without compensation.
The CRBG Board shall meet from time to time as needed, and shall
adopt such policies and procedures as deemed necessary for the orderly
operation of the Carlls River Botanical Garden. In addition, the CRBG
Board shall make recommendations and advise the Town Board from time
to time on issues concerning the operation of the CRBG.
