In order to further public health, safety and welfare and to preserve and protect Township property, the Township hereby establishes regulations regarding permissible activities, proper permitting, facility maintenance and the establishment of hours of use for Township-owned parks and property.
A public gathering permit shall be required for any event or activity to be held on public property where attendance by more than 150 people is customary or anticipated.
Applications for public gathering permits shall be made in writing to the Township Clerk and contain the following information:
A. 
Name of person, persons, association, organization, business or corporation requesting the permit to publicly gather.
B. 
Contact information.
C. 
Date and time of gathering.
D. 
Estimated number expected to attend.
E. 
Purpose of gathering.
F. 
Location of gathering.
G. 
Insurance carrier, policy number and address.
H. 
If alcohol is to be served, the NJ Alcoholic Beverage Commission permit or license number.
Every applicant for a public gathering permit shall provide:
A. 
A statement that the applicant agrees to be bound by any and all police rules and regulations with respect to the public gatherings.
B. 
A statement that the applicant agrees to furnish, at their own expense, special officers of such number as may be deemed necessary by the Chief of Police.
C. 
Permit fee as set forth in Chapter 260, Fee Schedule, or a written request for a fee waiver.
The Township Committee may consider a permit fee waiver if such waiver is requested in writing.
