No person shall consume or offer to another for consumption alcoholic
beverages in or upon any public street, road, alley, sidewalk, park or playground
within the limits of the Borough.
No person shall have in his/her possession or possess any alcoholic
beverage in, on or upon any public street, road, alley, sidewalk, park or
playground unless the same is contained within a closed or sealed container
or unless consumed or dispensed at a function authorized by special permit
by the governing body of the Borough of Hamburg or Division of Alcoholic Beverage
Control, State of New Jersey.
A special permit may be issued by the Mayor and Council for the possession
and consumption of alcoholic beverages at an outdoor picnic or function at
a specified location and for a specific period or for any indoor function
at a specific location for a specific event or observance or other activities
sponsored by an individual, group, nonprofit corporation or organizations
or corporation or organization for profit.
