Township of Little Egg Harbor in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-107.
The Historic Preservation Commission shall consist of five members and

B. Class B. There shall be one Class B member who shall

and who may reside outside the municipality.
C. Class C. There shall be three Class C members who shall
be citizens of the municipality who shall hold no other municipal office,
position, or employment, except for membership on the Planning Board or Board
of Adjustment.
D. There shall be two alternate members who shall meet the
qualifications of Class C members.
A. The Class A member shall be initially appointed to a
two-year term and thereafter all appointments shall be for four years.
B. The Class B member shall initially be appointed for a
term of three years, and thereafter for a term of four years.
C. The Class C members shall have initial appointments for
terms of one, two and three years, respectively. One Class C member shall

Alternate No. 1 and two years for Alternate No. 2. Thereafter, terms of both
alternate members shall be two years.
E. A vacancy occurring otherwise than by expiration of term

I. No member of any Historic Preservation Commission shall
act on any manner in which he or she has, directly or indirectly, any personal
or financial interest.
J. A member of a historic preservation body may, after public
hearing, if he or she requests, be removed by the governing body for cause.
