A. 
The Town Clerk shall keep and cause to be permanently bound one or more files of Town Reports and shall keep and file all original documents of the Town Reports and shall keep and file all original documents of the town.
B. 
He shall notify, or cause to be notified, all persons chosen or elected by the town, or appointed on committees, of their elections, choice or appointment.
C. 
He shall furnish all boards and committees with a copy of all votes of Annual and Special Town Meetings affecting them.
D. 
He shall not allow original documents or papers of the town to be taken from his office, except as they remain in his custody, or by authority of law.
E. 
He shall do all other things as required by law.
