There is continued within the Borough a Court to be known as the "Municipal Court of the Borough of Saddle River," pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 2A:8-1 et seq.
A. 
The Judge of the Municipal Court shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council.
B. 
He shall serve for a term of three years from the date of his appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified.
The Judge of the Municipal Court shall designate the days when sessions of the Court will be held and the hour at which the Court will be in session, subject to the approval of the Administrative Director of the Courts. He shall preside at sessions of the Municipal Court.

A. 
The Municipal Court Administrator shall be appointed and a Deputy Administrator may be appointed annually by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council.
B. 
The Municipal Court Administrator and Deputy Administrator, as directed by the Judge of the Municipal Court, shall keep the records of the Municipal Court and do all other clerical work of the Court.

A. 
The Borough of Saddle River may employ attorneys at law on a part-time or per-case basis to provide for the representation of persons entitled by law to appointment of counsel.
B. 
Each individual applying for representation by a Municipal Public Defender shall be required to pay an application fee of not more than $200. The Municipal Court Judge may waive any required application fee, in whole or in part, if the Court determines, in its discretion, that the application fee represents an unreasonable burden on the individual seeking representation.
