For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Borough Clerk shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For certifying any public record, such as an ordinance, resolution, minutes and other public documents, $1 for each certification.
B. 
For furnishing any copy, by photostatting or otherwise, or any public record, the fees will be as follows:

(1) 
First page to 10th page: $0.75 per page.
(2) 
Eleventh page to 20th page: $0.50 per page.
(3) 
All pages over 20: $0.25 per page.
C. 
For furnishing any ordinance in booklet form, such as the Zoning Ordinance, Building Code or any other code, the amount to be charged for such ordinance in booklet form shall be the amount printed on such booklet or such amount adopted by resolution of the Mayor and Council.

For the services hereinafter mentioned, the Chief of Police shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
Photocopies of reports and other records as contemplated by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5, first page to tenth page: $0.50 per page.
B. 
Photocopies of eleventh page to twentieth page as contemplated by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5: $0.25 per page.
C. 
Photocopies of reports and other records as contemplated by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5 of pages over 20: $0.10 per page.
D. 
Reports other than in person:
(1) 
Up to three pages: $5 additional.
(2) 
Over three pages: $1 per page additional.
(3) 
In accordance with N.J.S.A. 39:4-131.
E. 
The following fees shall be charged for the services indicated:

(1) 
For accident reports: $3 per report.
(2) 
For record checks: $10.
(3) 
For fingerprinting:
(a) 
Immigration: Fee schedule removed due to changes in the law prohibiting the NAPD from fingerprinting applicants.
(b) 
Employment: $7.50 first page; each additional card $2.50.
(4) 
For providing the following services associated with canvassing permits:
(a) 
Photo: $5.
(b) 
Record check: $10.
(c) 
ID card: $10.
(5) 
ABC: $20.

Reports and photographs shall be available from the Police Department Record Bureau between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

A. 
Viewing of video tapes and listening to audio tapes shall be limited to the accused and/or his/her attorney. Viewing and listening shall be by appointment only. The fee shall be $25.
B. 
Copies of video tapes and audio tapes will be prepared only upon prepayment of the fee and shall be available seven working days following receipt of payment. The fee shall be $100.

A. 
Whenever in the opinion of the Borough's custodians of records the nature, format, manner or collation or volume of a Borough record embodied in the form of printed matter to be inspected, examined, or copied pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.) is such that the record cannot be reproduced by ordinary document-copying equipment in ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request, the Borough of North Arlington shall charge, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, a special service charge based upon the actual cost of providing the copies as follows:
(1) 
Oversized: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(2) 
Copies (greater than 8 x 10): actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(3) 
Copies in excess of 100 pages: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(4) 
Photographs: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(5) 
Mylar copies: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(6) 
Transparencies: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(7) 
Undersized copies (smaller than 8 x 10): actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(8) 
Video tapes: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(9) 
Audio tape: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.
(10) 
Copies of records maintained off Borough property: actual cost plus handling charge of 2%.

B. 
Any objection to the above-stated special charges shall be presented to the Borough's custodian of records in writing prior to duplication of the requested records.
The Collector of Taxes and Water Accounts shall charge for the issuance of any duplicate tax bill or water bill the sum of $1 for each duplicate bill.
For the services hereinafter mentioned from any other board, agency or department of the Borough of North Arlington, the Borough Clerk or appropriate officers of said board, agency or department shall be entitled to demand and receive the following fees:
A. 
For certifying any public document, $1 for each certification.
B. 
For furnishing any copy of any public record by photostatting or otherwise, $0.50 for the first page or side and $0.25 for any additional page or side.
Nothing herein shall be construed as requiring the above-named officers to certify or issue any copy of any record, unless the same are public records.
All sums collected shall be considered the funds of the Borough of North Arlington and shall be paid by the respective officers to the Treasurer of the Borough of North Arlington.

A. 
Any person that seeks to have the Mayor or other Borough official perform a marriage or civil union ceremony shall be required to tender to the Borough Clerk the sum of $150 to be deposited into the general fund.
