Any vehicle parked in violation of this article shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulations of traffic, and any peace officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner of said vehicle shall pay the reasonable cost of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle. Penalties as provided in Chapter
1, Article
I, General Penalty, shall be imposed for each violation of this article, except that, for a violation of §
252-1, a fine of $55 shall be imposed.

Application for a permit for a parking space
in a municipal parking lot shall be made on a form prepared by the
Borough's Police Department and it shall set forth the name and address
of the applicant and the name and address of the establishment for
which the application is made.

A. The fee for a permit for a parking space within said
municipal lot shall be $300 per space, per year payable upon issuance
of permit. Permits shall be issued upon a yearly basis, January 1
through December 31, inclusive. If a permit is issued for less than
a full year, the fee will be charged on a pro rata basis. Current
permit holders will have the right to renew the permit on a yearly
basis prior to the permit being issued to any other party.
B. The Borough Police Department shall not cause to be
issued and active more than 30 permits at any one time.
C. Permits shall be issued exclusively to owners of businesses
located on Ridge Road.
D. Permit holders shall be permitted to park in the lots designated "Borough Parking Lot No. 1", "Borough Parking Lot No. 2" and "Borough Parking Lot No. 3" as designated in Borough Code §
187-36.
