Pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal and County Utilities
Authorities Law (P.L. 1957, c. 183, p. 634, Section 1, N.J.S.A. Title
40, Chapter 14B) of the State of New Jersey, there is hereby created
a public body corporate and politic under the name and style of "Weymouth
Township Municipal Utilities Authority."
The Weymouth Township Municipal Utilities Authority hereby created
is a utilities authority as contemplated and provided for by the Municipal
and County Utilities Authorities Law and shall have and exercise all
of the powers and perform all of the duties provided for by said Municipal
and County Utilities Authorities Law and any other statutes heretofore
enacted and applicable thereto.

A. The Township Municipal Utilities Authority shall consist of five
members and two alternate members to be appointed by the Township
Committee. The alternate members shall be designated by the Township
Committee when they are appointed as "Alternate No. 1" and "Alternate
No. 2" and shall serve during the absence or disqualification of any
regular member or members.
B. The members of the Weymouth Township Municipal Utilities Authority
shall be compensated for their services as follows:

(1) Chairperson: $1,200 per year.
(2) Vice Chairperson: $900 per year.
(3) Treasurer: $1,080 per year.
(4) Member/alternate: $480 per year (during the first year of service).
(5) Member/alternate: $660 per year (with one year of service).
(6) Member/alternate: $900 per year (with three or more years' service).
C. Compensation shall be paid on a monthly basis. Compensation shall only be paid to the members pro rata in accordance with their attendance at all regularly scheduled meetings. For example, if a member of the Utilities Authority only attends one-half of the meetings, that member will only be entitled to receive one-half of the compensation outlined in Subsection
B above.

D. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:14B-18, the Weymouth Township Municipal Utilities
Authority may appoint and employ, full-time or part-time, a secretary,
an executive director, managerial personnel, technical advisers and
experts, professional employees and persons who shall render professional
services as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5, as the authority may determine
necessary for its efficient operations, and it shall determine their
qualifications, terms of office, for periods not to exceed five years,
duties and compensation and enter into contracts therefor, for periods
not to exceed five years, as it deems necessary. The Municipal Utilities
Authority may also appoint and employ such other agents and employees
as it may require and determine their duties and compensation. The
provisions of this subsection with regard to terms shall not apply
to the positions of general counsel and consulting engineer.
E. Any member of the Township Municipal Utilities Authority that is
absent from three consecutive meetings or misses a total of four regularly
scheduled meetings, shall be deemed to have resigned from the Utilities
Authority and upon the occurrence of the disqualifying event, the
Township Committee shall appoint a replacement to fill that member's
term.

A copy of this chapter, duly certified by the Township Clerk,
shall forthwith be filed by the Township Clerk in the office of the
Secretary of State of the State of New Jersey.
