This chapter shall be known as the "Bingo Licensing Law of the Village of Altamont."
It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining the required license therefor, to conduct the game of bingo within the territorial limits of the Village of Altamont, subject to the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of Article 14-H of the General Municipal Law (known as the "Bingo Licensing Law"), and the provisions of Article 19-B of the Executive Law (known as the "Bingo Control Law").
This chapter shall be submitted for approval of the electors of the Village of Altamont at the next Village election and shall take effect after approval by a majority of the qualified electors of the Village of Altamont voting thereon and upon filing with the Secretary of State of the State of New York and with the State Racing and Wagering Board.[1]
