No person or persons shall sponsor, conduct
or participate in any automobile race, horse race, or any other kind
of racing event on Sunday within the limits of the Village, unless
prior approval is received from the Village Board.
A.
No person or persons shall give or cause to be given
within the limits of the Village any exhibition, performance or entertainment
without having first applied in writing to the Mayor of the Village
for a permit therefor and without having received a written permit
signed by the Mayor and one of the Trustees. Such permit shall not
be required, however, for any exhibitions, performances or entertainment
given on the Altamont Fairgrounds under the auspices or sponsorship
of the Tri-County Fair Association.
B.
A violation of this section shall constitute disorderly
conduct and any person or persons guilty thereof shall be a disorderly
person or persons and shall be subject to a penalty of $25 for each
and every violation thereof.
