No person shall make or keep gunpowder, nitroglycerin or any other explosive or combustible material within the Village or transport any such material through the streets thereof without first securing a permit in writing signed by the Mayor and one of the Trustees of said Village. A permit shall not be issued for any use prohibited by the Village Zoning Law.[1]

It shall be unlawful for any person to give, sell or loan, within the limits of this municipality, to any minor a revolver, pistol or firearm of any description, including any so-called blank cartridge.
Any person convicted of a violation of this chapter or any part thereof shall be liable to a penalty of $100 or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, for an initial violation of this chapter and to a penalty not to exceed $250 or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, for each and every subsequent violation thereof.
