The Walpole Board of Health requires of all responsible parties who have groundwater monitoring programs on their locus to do EPA-approved 524.2 testing for VOC analysis and other organic for Massachusetts drinking water standards or must seek prior approval from the Walpole Board of Health or a comparable groundwater monitoring program for VOCs. The Walpole Board of Health also has the option of requiring any other testing method for VOCs for the protection of public health and environmental safety of the citizens of Walpole. All prior approval of testing methods before the effective date November 8, 1990, of this regulation is null and void.
The Board of Health's agent shall be notified when the testing will be done with sufficient notice and has the option of being present during testing.
All testing results must be presented in writing to the Walpole Board of Health.
