The Police Department of the Borough of Aldan shall notify the owner
or occupant or agent of such owner or occupant of any house or building of
the number assigned to such house or building. Notification shall be by handing
the notice to the owner or occupant or his agent or to any adult person in
charge of the house or building at the time or, failing that, by registered
mail to the owner or occupant or his agent or, failing that, by conspicuously
posting the notice on the house or building for a period of 10 days.
The owner or occupant shall cause the number so assigned to be posted
conspicuously on the street side of the house or building or on the entrance
gate post or beside the driveway in such a manner that it will be visible

term not to exceed 30 days. Every day that a violation of this chapter continues
shall constitute a separate offense.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding
pending in any court or any rights acquired or liability incurred or any cause
or causes of action or any numbers assigned or prosecutions instituted prior
to its repeal, nor shall any just or legal right or remedy of any character
be lost, impaired or affected by this chapter.

and street intersections as an address may continue this practice, provided
that the Police Department of the Borough of Aldan shall confirm the address,
