No person shall bring onto the premises, possess or consume any alcoholic beverage or illegal drug of any kind while in attendance at any park, playground and/or recreation area within the Borough, and no person shall enter a park, playground and/or recreation area in an intoxicated state or otherwise be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
No person having possession, custody or control of any animal shall knowingly or negligently permit any dog or other animal to enter onto the premises of any park, playground and/or recreation area, or to commit any nuisance, i.e., defecation or urination, upon the grounds of any park, playground and/or recreation area within the Borough.
No person shall ride a wheeled vehicle except on vehicle pathways in any park, recreational or playground area in the Borough.
No person shall cut, break, mar, deface or injure any tree, shrub, flowering plant, ornamental plant, building, structure, equipment, fence, or real or personal property in or upon the public grounds maintained by the Borough. Public grounds shall include parks, playgrounds, trails, paths, recreational areas, public areas, sites for schools, sewage treatment, refuse disposal, publicly owned or operated facilities, and publicly owned or operated scenic and historic sites.
All parks, playgrounds and recreation areas within the Borough shall be closed from sunset to sunrise daily, and no person shall be permitted to remain therein after closing for any purpose.
All parks, playgrounds or recreation areas shall be posted as to the prohibitions, violations and fines as provided in this chapter.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding $600, plus costs, and, in default of payment thereof, shall be subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 30 days. Each day that a violation of this chapter continues shall constitute a separate offense.
