For the purpose of applying the provisions of this chapter, the Borough of Freedom, County of Beaver, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is divided into the following zoning districts:
R-1
Low-Density Residential District
R-2
Medium-Density Residential District
R-3
High-Density Residential District
B
Business District
I-1
Light Industrial District
I-2
Heavy Industrial District
C
Conservation District
The aforesaid districts are bounded and defined on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the Borough of Freedom," certified by the Secretary of the borough. The Zoning Map (as will be commonly named) accompanies this chapter and is hereby made a part thereof.[1]

Where uncertainty exists as to the boundaries of districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
A. 
Boundaries indicated will follow right-of-way of streets or highways, lot lines or borough boundary lines.
B. 
Where above physical delineations are not applicable, boundaries shall be determined by the scale shown on the Zoning Map.
C. 
Where physical or cultural features existing on the ground are at variance with those shown on the Zoning Map, or in other circumstances not covered by Subsections A and B above, the Zoning Hearing Board shall interpret the district boundaries.
