It is the desire of the Council of the Borough of Bell Acres, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and the Council hereby signifies its intention to organize an Authority under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

The name of the proposed Authority shall be the Bell Acres Municipal Authority.

The project to be undertaken by the Authority is that the Bell Acres Municipal Authority shall be the exclusive agency, unless consent is otherwise given by the Authority, to undertake the acquisition, holding, construction, improvement, maintenance, ownership, operation, extension and leasing, either in the capacity of lessor or lessee, of a sanitary sewer collection, conveyance and treatment system, including treatment plants, main collector sewer lines and appurtenances, and excluding laterals, within the Borough of Bell Acres, and to undertake said activities in and for such other territory as it may lawfully serve.[1]

Pursuant to said desire and intention of the Council and in conformance with the terms and provisions of said Municipality Authorities Act of 1945 and its amendments,[1] the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth, in full, as follows.[2]
