No person shall, except in necessary defense of person or property or in the lawful pursuit of hunting game, fire or discharge any gun, rifle or other firearm for target practice or otherwise within the Borough of Bell Acres, subject to the provisions contained in § 95-2 herein.
The prohibition covering the use or discharge of firearms within the Borough of Bell Acres shall not apply to an officer of the Borough of Bell Acres Police Force in the performance of his lawful duties, which shall include the use or discharge of a firearm by any such officer at the Borough Police Force practice range, or to any other law enforcement officer legally performing his duties within the Borough of Bell Acres.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before a District Justice, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and cost of prosecution for each offense and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
