A.Â
The City Clerk is entitled to receive, on behalf of the City, for services specified in this section, except where another fee is allowed therefor by statutory provision, the fees as provided in Chapter 175, Fees, to be paid in advance to be deposited by him with the Director of the Treasury:
(1)Â
For a search of the marriage records and furnishing a certificate
of marriage registration.
(2)Â
For a search of the marriage records filed in his office.
(3)Â
For a search of the marriage records and furnishing a noncertified
copy of marriage registration for genealogical purposes.
(4)Â
For the issuance of a license of marriage and for the furnishing
of a certificate of marriage registration upon receipt of the return
of the marriage license properly endorsed and completed by the person
who shall have solemnized the marriage in accordance with the laws
of the State of New York.
(5)Â
For use of a marriage room in the City Clerk's office during the
performance of a marriage ceremony.
(6)Â
For preparing and furnishing a copy of a resolution or other paper
filed in his office.
(7)Â
For comparison of a copy prepared by the applicant of a resolution
or other paper filed in his office.
(8)Â
For furnishing the form, filing and docketing an application for
appointment to the office of the Commissioner of Deeds.
(9)Â
For preparing and furnishing photographic copies of papers on file
in his office, not including the fee for certification.
(10)Â
For furnishing in booklet form a printed copy of the Common
Council Proceedings of the City of Buffalo.
(11)Â
For a yearly subscription to the Common Council Proceedings
of the City of Buffalo.
(12)Â
For furnishing a single copy of the City Record.
(13)Â
For a yearly subscription of the City Record.
(14)Â
For furnishing separate chapters of the Code of the City of
Buffalo.
(15)Â
For the correction of replacement death certificates issued
to funeral directors.
(16)Â
For furnishing copies of blueprints.
(17)Â
For furnishing a certified copy of a birth certificate; or for
furnishing a certified copy of a birth certificate, hard plastic,
wallet size.

the issuance of a one-day marriage officiant license.

B.Â
The provision of this section requiring the payment of fees shall
not apply to the filing of applications and certification of papers
where the head of the department of the state, county, City or duly
created agency thereof certifies that such filing and certification
is required in the performance of public duties.
