A. 
Unless otherwise specified, it is a traffic infraction for any person to violate any of the provisions of this chapter or of any local law, ordinance, order or rule or regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter.
B. 
Every person convicted of a traffic infraction for a violation of any provision of this chapter, which is not a violation of any provision of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $250 for each violation and by imprisonment of up to 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

C. 
Every person convicted of a traffic infraction for a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter which involves or resulted in the removal of a vehicle as provided in this chapter shall pay to the Police Department, in addition to any penalty or fine for the violation, the cost and expenses of towing and storage as provided in § 109-21.
