It shall be lawful for said Board at any regular or special meeting, in its discretion, upon the payment by the applicant of a fee of $0.25 to the Treasurer of said Board, to grant a permit to carry any revolver, pistol or other deadly or offensive or dangerous weapon or firearm or other deadly or offensive weapon or any stiletto, dagger or razor or any knife with a blade five inches in length or over to any resident of Raritan applying therefor.

Any person firing or discharging any pistol, gun or other firearm on any private property or public highway in said Borough of Raritan shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $10 or imprisonment for 10 days, or both, in the discretion of the committing Municipal Court Judge.
