No person shall keep or maintain or permit or allow to exist and be maintained or kept upon any land and premises within the Borough of Raritan, whether leased, rented or owned partly or entirely by him, any garbage, animal or decaying vegetable matter or any other refuse matter whatsoever.
No person shall keep or maintain or permit or allow to exist and be maintained or kept upon any land and premises within the Borough of Raritan weeds, poison ivy, dilapidated buildings, junk and other articles of whatsoever nature in such a manner that it shall be detrimental to the safety or health of persons living or passing in the vicinity thereof.
Any violation of §§ 262-1 and 262-2 shall be deemed a nuisance, and any person who violates any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $25 or imprisonment of not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:

Any firm or member thereof, partnership or member thereof or corporation or officer or director thereof.
