§ 95-1 Structures requiring automatic systems.

The following circumstances shall require the installation of automatic fire protection systems prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy

A. Any new structure, whether residential or commercial, with a driveway that exceeds 1,000 feet in length or that has a driveway that exceeds a grade of 15%.

B. Any structure, whether residential or commercial, having undergone a renovation that increases the usable space by 30% or more and with a driveway that exceeds 1,000 feet in length or that has a driveway that exceeds a grade of 15%.

C. Any other structure required by State Building Code or Town bylaw to provide automatic fire protection systems.
