It is in the best interest of the Township of Middle to establish a structured fee schedule for the usage of recreational facilities by third parties.

Fees for usage of recreational facilities are as follows:

$100/event; $30/three-hour meeting
Middle Township community organizations
$300/year for one meeting a month
Non-profit/private organizations
$150/event; $75/monthly meeting (6 or more meetings/year)
Commercial organizations
$250/event; $125/monthly meeting (6 or more meetings/year); $75/weekly meeting (2 or more meetings/month)
Goshen Complex and Martin Luther King Center
Baseball/softball fields (tournaments)
Baseball/softball fields (MTBSA-sponsored tournaments)

Snack stand Baker Center
Nonprofit organizations seeking to conduct events in the Township and to utilize the proceeds generated from same to advance youth sports in Middle Township may apply to the Township Committee for a waiver from the fee schedule above. Such waiver shall be granted or denied by resolution of the governing body at a regularly scheduled Committee meeting.

In the event that any planned activity requires the services of Township employees for set-up, clean up, security, kitchen staffing, etc., then the organization conducting said event shall compensate the Township dollar for dollar for such services. The Recreation Director of the Township shall prepare the invoice for such charges. Payment shall be due on demand.

Veteran's organizations shall be exempt from paying any fees associated with this chapter. A "veteran's organization" is defined as a nonpartisan, patriotic, nonprofit or not-for-profit organization, such as the American Legion or Veterans of Foreign Wars, in which past or present service in a branch of the United States Armed Forces is a membership prerequisite and which also has as its purpose the mutual helpfulness of its veterans members. The Township Committee reserves the right to deny this exemption on a case-by-case basis or to limit the use to a reasonable use, in terms of frequency or scope.
